MRI Safety Update for Primary Care Referrers

This interactive, live online update is for primary care professionals who make or are considering making referrals for MRI examinations and need to identify patients with implants and other contraindications to MRI and also understand the information required and what to present to radiology.
Run twice a year, the course is suitable for General Practitioners, First Contact Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Physician Associates, Osteopaths and Chiropractors.
The course will provide advice and support from professionals at the forefront of MRI practice and safety and allow the sharing of information with other referrers. It will help to ensure your responsibilities and duty of care to your patient are maintained.
The MRI environment, equipment and medical devices/implants are constantly evolving and many may not be MRI safe. You will receive the latest up to date information and advice on topics that you need to consider as a referrer.
This course features regular use of live Polling, Chat and Discussion sessions
£ 85+VAT (Early Bird Until 21 August 2025), £105+VAT thereafter.
The course will be conducted using Zoom Meetings. In addition, supplementary course content will be provided using our website member’s portal. Course access will require a PC/Mac or tablet (iPad or Android). Integral webcam and microphone is preferable although mobile dial in audio is supported (please contact us with any queries)
